MOSCOW PR AND RETAILER EVENT WITH TIMUR SADREDINOV, JUNE 10, 2010
Russian racing driver Timur Sadredinov was just ten years old when he took first place in the Russian baggy-kart Championship. Things have not slowed down at all since then. Timur is a man of action whose four car tyres rarely touch the ground all at the same time, and everyone was happy to have the chance to meet him at CERTINA's Moscow PR and Retailer Event on June 10. Timur Sadredinov is CERTINA brand ambassador in Russia since 2010, and his long string of achievements makes him a perfect and very sporty front man for our activities in the expanding Russian timepiece market.
A friendly welcome apéritif allowed everyone to get acquainted, then Timur and CERTINA President Adrian Bosshard drove up to the main tribune, after a fast show of Timur's exceptional driving skills. Adrian introduced the Russian race driver, and CERTINA retailers, journalists and guests all moved into the conference hall for the main presentations. A quick question period followed, along with a congenial photo shoot, and a new DS Master timepiece was presented to Timur for his work as brand ambassador.
Everyone returned to the outdoor racetrack for some sporty go-kart racing, which lasted through the afternoon. A major highlight of our time at track side was a presentation by professional drivers hired for the occasion, specialists in car drifting, a wild and exciting form of racing on asphalt that resembles the stunts performed in ice-racing, another of Timur's well-known specialities. Some of the more adventurous guests had the opportunity of going for one or two laps with the professional drivers, a good shake after a fine lunch.
To close the day in style, Timur and CERTINA staff presented the best drivers with gift timepieces and the all-out best driver received a magnum of champagne, just like the big guys in Formula 1. An exciting and memorable day, full of action, precision and sport, just the way we like them.
